The Student Success Center in the McCoy College of Business is a new initiative within the college and the first of its kind at Texas State University. The center focuses on the academic, professional, and personal development of McCoy undergraduate students.

    Kristine comes to us with over 12 years of experience in higher ed. She began her journey with student success at Texas A&M University-Kingsville where she served as Assistant Director for Peer Mentoring. She then continued her journey to Texas State working with the Title V CAFE grant where she assisted with building a Career Readiness Institute for Juniors and Seniors, help students build their soft-skills, making them a better candidate post graduation. As a first generation student herself, giving back to students and assisting with their success is one her many passions.

    Allison Pufal is a dedicated student success professional, proud university alumna, and graduate student with nearly nine years of experience empowering students through academic advising, student affairs, and meaningful campus engagement. She is passionate about helping students navigate every stage of their college journey, connect with the resources they need, and achieve both their academic and personal goals. Above all, Allison is committed to creating a supportive, welcoming environment where students feel encouraged, confident, and capable of reaching their full potential.
