Internship Boot Camp
Join the McCoy College of Business Student Success Center for the Transfer Student Welcome on Tuesday, August 20th. Location to be shared at a later date.
McCoy Ready
Participation in the program will allow students to earn digital badges that can be shared with employers. Learn more about the badges you can acquire.
Topics
All workshops will be facilitated by employer/industry professionals. Students who enroll in the program must attend all four workshops. Sessions will occur the first four Friday's before the Career Fair.
Students who complete the program will be invited to a networking event with employers prior to the Career Fair.

Who is eligible to participate?
Students who are incoming transfers and first-year students with 45+ hours are eligible to participate in the program. At this time, only students in the McCoy College of Business are eligible to participate.

Can I participate if I am not in the McCoy College of Business?
No. At this time, only students in the McCoy College of Business are able to participate in the program.

When and where does the program take place?
The program will take place the first four Friday's prior to the Career Fair. Room locations will be provided to enrolled students prior to the start of the sessions. Students should check their email for more information. All sessions are in-person and will not be offered online.

Do I need to attend every session?
Yes. In order to complete the program, students will need to attend every session.

Why should I participate in this program?
The Internship Bootcamp provides students with employer connections and serves as a fast track to preparing students to enter the interviewing space. This program is in line with our goal to help students become McCoy Ready.

Will I have an internship by the end of this program?
The goal of the program is increase the likelihood of a student receiving an internship. However, our program cannot guarantee that a student will receive an internship.

Is the program free?
Yes. All programs through the McCoy College Student Success Center are free.

Is this a for-credit program?
No. This program is not a for-credit program as students elect to participate for their professional benefit.
