Francisco Dopazo-Pelayo is a sophomore from Valencia, Venezuela, majoring in Marketing with a concentration in Professional Sales. In addition to being a full-time student, he works as a Tutor at Math CATS and was an Orientation Leader during Summer 2023. Regarding his involvement on campus, he is the President of the MCSSC Student Business Council and the Vice President of the Student Alumni Council. Francisco chose Texas State because of how welcoming and inclusive the Texas State campus and students are, and in his free time, he loves hanging out with friends and spending time at Sewell Park.

Biniam (Ben) Hatmaker is a sophomore from Ethiopia majoring in Accounting. In addition to being a full-time student, he works as a Tutor at Math CATS and is the Vice President of the MCSSC Student Business Council. Biniam (Ben) chose Texas State because of the beautiful campus and welcoming environment. In his free time, he loves to golf and spend quality time with the people he loves.

Andrew Arzola is a driven Finance major in his Junior year at Texas State University. Andrew has a passion for data analysis and making strategic investment decisions. Born and raised in Texas, Andrew is from Buda. Outside of academics, he actively participates as the Chief Financial Officer in the MCSSC Student Business Council. Andrew aspires to pursue a career in financial analysis post-graduation and aims to make significant contributions to the finance industry. Andrew Chose Texas State because of its beautiful campus and valuable resources it provides its students with. In his free time, you can find Andrew in one of three places on campus: the Alkek Library, Student Recreation Center, or Sewell Park.

Karla Amaro is a senior at the McCoy College of Business studying Marketing with a minor in Mass Communications. She is involved at the McCoy College in various organizations — TXST Women in Business, TXST American Marketing Association, McCoy Student Business Council, and McCoy Student Leadership Council. Karla has held some leadership positions such as Chief Marketing Officer with the McCoy Student Business Council and President-Elect for TXST American Marketing Association. She has gotten involved in opportunities in marketing as she enjoys the creative side of marketing through social media management and brand management. Karla was able to thrive in the McCoy College environment and wanted to share these opportunities to thrive with fellow students. She joined the McCoy Student Business Council to assist the Student Success Center with promoting these opportunities.

Dafne Campos, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, is pursuing a major in Finance and a minor in Philosophy. Balancing her academics, she dedicates time to working at the university’s key shop and as a seasonal Sales Teammate at Buckle. On campus, she holds significant roles as Chief Public Relations Officer of the MCSSC Student Business Council, the Director of External Affairs for Women in Business, and membership in Beta Alpha Psi. As a first-generation student, Dafne appreciates the inclusive atmosphere at Texas State and hopes to nurture it further.
